Provvidenza Dearcangelis, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Ms. Provvidenza Dearcangelis is an Occupational Therapist, registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. She is qualified and registered to practice in the province of Ontario. She graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. She continued her education at the University of Toronto where she completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Ms. Provvidenza Dearcangelis has clinical experience with the assessment and treatment of clients across the lifespan including, the pediatric, young adult, and older adult populations. Her experience includes working with a range of physical, cognitive, neurological, developmental, and psychological conditions in hospital, private clinic and community settings. Ms. Provvidenza Dearcangelis regularly attends courses, seminars and conferences to update her skills and expertise in assessment and therapeutic interventions. She is certified in Standard First-Aid, CPR/AED Level C, SafeTalk Suicide Alertness, Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP), Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM), Concussion Awareness Training Tool, Adaptive mobility and driving in OT, CCMI Neurology-Concussion Management Tool. She also has experience performing in-home and community assessments and interventions for clients who have sustained both non-catastrophic and catastrophic injuries including chronic pain, acquired brain injuries and orthopedic injuries. Currently, her area of focus includes the assessment and treatment of occupational performance issues, impaired by changes in physical, cognitive, and psycho-emotional health. Ms. Provvidenza Dearcangelis understands that health encompasses a multitude of factors and thus will ensure to provide client-centred care when addressing one's biopsychosocial health needs.
