Bani Ahuja, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Ms. Bani Ahuja is a qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She graduated from McMaster University in 2010 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and from the University of Toronto in 2008 with an Honors Bachelors Degree in Health Studies and Psychology.
She has experience with assessment and treatment of individuals with physical, cognitive, and psychiatric disorders. She regularly attends courses, seminars and conferences to update her skills and expertise in assessment, rehabilitation and therapeutic intervention.
She is trained in the Handwriting Without Tears Program, Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) intervention, and is a certified BrainFx Administrator (CBA). She has received a certificate from OISE in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Fundamental Skills.
She has participated in the catastrophic assessment training course provided by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME) for the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 4th Edition and AMA Guides 6th Edition Psychiatric Impairment Rating, and has been certified in Impairment and Disability Rating by the American College of Disability Medicine.
She is a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner.
